Get Ready for the BD-4 40th Anniversary Fly-In!

TEAM Aviation is planning a terrific fly-in for October, 2008! We're inviting the Bede aviation community to Las Cruces, NM to celebrate the 40th year of Jim Bede's enduring BD-4 design. Of course, this will be a great chance to fly in and show off your Bede airplane, but you can get here any way you'd like. We're excited for this moment in the BD-4's history, but we're welcoming all of the Bede airplanes, and their friends.

If you're considering building a BD-4, you'll get a chance to check out TEAM Aviation's new manufacturing facilities, learn about our exciting new plans for our BD-4 kits, or maybe even get a demo ride.

TEAM Aviation is headquartered at Las Cruces International Airport (KLRU), just a few miles from sunny Las Cruces, NM. Expect clear skies, moderate temperatures, and friendly folks all around.

Tentatively, we're scheduling the fly-in for October, 2008. Most activities will be planned for a Saturday, exact date to be determined soon. Here are just a few of the featured events:

• A tour of TEAM Aviation's new BD-4 shop (Open House Friday and Saturday)
• An open forum for builders, owners and prospective builders
• A seminar with noted BD-4 builder, enhancer, and experimenter Scott DeGaynor
• Happy hour and buffet-style dinner on Saturday evening
• Guest speaker - Jim Bede! Father of some aviation's most legendary designs!
• Sunday morning pancake breakfast hosted by local EAA Chapter 555
